PARK RULES
The use of firearms or fireworks *including sparklers* is strictly prohibited in the park. Violation of this rule may mean your immediate removal from the park without refund.
Campsite - A maximum of 6 persons, 1 camping unit and 1 vehicle is permitted on 1 registered campsite. For tent policy, see section below labeled Tents. Persons under the age of 21 are required to have a parent or legal guardian in the park while using park facilities. Check-in for all campsites and rental units is between 1:00pm and 10:00pm. With our video recorded security gates, we are unable to accommodate check-ins after 10:00pm, so please plan accordingly. As park amenities expire at noon on your departing date, all persons and camping units must vacate both the site and the park prior to noon. Camping is a great outdoor experience; therefore, we do not give refunds due to discomforts of nature, illness or work schedule. This includes no shows or unused camping nights. Please do not ask.
Tents - In addition to your main camping unit, we will allow 1 tent with a base measurement of no more than 5' and/or no taller than 42" for dependent children living in your household as long as a parent also occupies the tent. It must follow State setback requirements which are as follows: 5' from your main camping unit; 15' from the sides of neighboring units; 10' from the end of an adjacent unit; and, 10' from campground roadways. The children's tent must be registered at the time of check-in and properly tagged. This permission is not intended for a second family or adults staying with the registered camper.
Pets - For everyone's safety, pets cannot be left unattended or unleashed. Owners must clean-up after their pets, including in the pet-walk areas which are located on your park map. Pets are not permitted in any Cedarlane rental unit, restroom/showerhouse, camp store, or in the swimming pools or playground areas. This is an Ottawa County Health Department Regulation. Pets must be registered at time of check-in.
Campfires/Picnic Tables/Trash - Each campsite is provided 1 fire ring and 1 picnic table. Campfires are permitted only in the fire rings and must never be left unattended. Please do not move fire rings and never burn trash in them. Trash must be bagged and taken to dumpsters located throughout the park (see your park map).
Waste Water - Gray and/or black water is not permitted to run onto the ground. It must be collected in a covered container and emptied at the various dump stations located throughout the park. Dishwashing is not permitted at on-site water hookups or in any restroom/shower building. Please do not use restroom toilets or sinks to empty dishwashing water or discarded food. This is a Ottawa County Health Department Regulation.
Fish Cleaning - Cleaning fish at campsites is prohibited. The fish cleaning building and dumpster are located in the back parking lot and are for the sole use of our camping guests. Please bag fish remains properly and discard only in the dumpster at the fishing cleaning building..
Boats/JetSkis - Neither boats nor jet skis are permitted on campsites at any time. They must be registered at the time of check-in and assigned a parking space in our back lot for an additional fee.
Security Gate Card - Remember to turn in your gate card as you are leaving the park before noon to receive your $10.00 deposit. If you plan to leave before the store opens, turn your card in the night before during posted store hours. If this procedure is not followed, the card automatically voids out at noon and your $10.00 deposit is forfeited. For security reasons, cash will not be mailed.
Store Hours/Night Check-in - Please check the posted store hours. Before Memorial Day and after Labor Day, the open hours of the store are shortened. The night office at the main entrance to the park (white, 2-story house) remains open until 10:00pm. It is not open mornings before the opening of the store.
Quiet Time/Playground - Please be considerate of your neighbors at all times by keeping noise to within hearing range of your own campsite. Our quiet time is from 11:00pm to 8:00am. If you plan to party past 11:00pm, this is not the campground for you. The playground closes at 10:00pm; please make your children aware of this. After 11:00pm and before 8:00am, children must be at their campsite or with parents .
Road Safety - Motorized vehicles, which include but are not limited to, scooters, mini-bikes, motorcycles, etc. are not allowed on park roadways. For the safety of our children, our campers and their visitors, the speed limit throughout the park is 5 mph. Bicycles used after dark should be equipped with reflectors and headlights. Children riding bicycles should be instructed that vehicular traffic has the right of way in the park over bicycles and that they should be careful on park roadways. Cedarlane will not be held responsible for bicycles, riders or any accidents caused by negligence, improper operation or other causes.
Pools - Open between Memorial Day and Labor Day, swimming is at your own risk; there are no lifeguards. The adult "relaxing" pool is for persons 18 years of age and older (sorry, no exceptions). A responsible adult should accompany children in the family pool areas. Proper swimming attire, swimsuits/trunks must be worn in the pools; street clothes will not be permitted. Adult and family pool hours are 10:00am - 10:00pm; the kiddie pool and sprayground hours are 10:00am - 8:00pm. Every pool user or observer in all pool areas must wear a wristband put on by store personnel each day. Management reserves the right to vacate the pool area/areas for any reason deemed necessary.
Visitors - All day use and overnight visitors must register in the store, obtain a car pass, pay appropriate fees and park in visitor lots. Day visitors not using the pools will be charged $2.00 per person per day. Any visitor using any of the pool areas will be charged $3.00 per person per day (a wristband will be put on each pool user or observer by store personnel). Overnight guests will pay $3.00 per person per night. Rental unit overnight visitor fees are $5.00 per person per night (subject to maximum capacity of unit). Hanging car passes, which are non-transferable, must be displayed on the rearview mirror for re-entry into the park. No person will be allowed to enter the park to visit a registered guest past 10:00pm. Please note that the visitor gate (far right gate) is operational from 9:00am until 10:00pm. The call box will not be answered nor the gate opened before 9:00am or after 10:00pm. Cedarlane reserves the right to limit the number of visitors and/or vehicles to any campsite.
Cedarlane reserves the right to refuse the rental of a campsite or entrance into the park, the right to tell anyone to leave the park as a result of a violation of these rules, or anything else deemed appropriate by management for his/her removal from the park without refund.
